About
The Full Story
The idea of the club first emerged with all of us wanting a simple way to connect with others, while also having an outlet to express ourselves creatively. Each one of us finds the idea of photography to be therapeutic and educational in a manner, which is why sharing it is our primary aim. Capturing moments throughout the campus, from orientation to fairs as well as well as ordinary life beyond the university will further that aim.

The purpose of the UTFPC (its a mouthful, I know) is to bring students from various disciplines together, and to unit them with their shared love of photography. Workshops led by seasoned professionals as well as peer review sessions will be used to further educate any novice who comes our way.

However beyond just skill-building, the UTFPC at its root wishes to explore the ins and outs of campus culture. There such a large and wonderful community from which we can learn from; people from all over the world from whom we can grow as individuals and unite as a collective. Philanthropic ventures using photography which will help support charitable causes and amplify messages of social importance is also something which all of us will contribute towards throughout the year.
